COLLUMN is a series I’ve been developing to explore the hybrid nature between sculpture, art, and functionality. Built using a system of interlocking planes, its assembly requires no hardware or fasteners.
Beyond variations in size and purpose, the series also embraces and experiments with diverse materials. These particular pieces were created in collaboration and with Matterpieces, a circular material crafted from demolition waste. They were showcased during the launch event for Matterpieces, serving as sculptures, lamps, and even displays for appetizers.
